I qualified in 1999 at the Medical Academy, now the Medical University of Bialystok (Poland). Post qualification I carried out working as a General Dental Practitioner and as a General Manager of the NHS Dental Department Bialystok in Poland- setting up, supervising, and securing an NHS Dental Service for the whole county.
In 2005 I became one of the participants and finalists of the UK government program aimed at increasing access to the NHS Dental Service for patients in the UK. In 2005, with my husband, we decided to relocate to UK, and we settled in Corby Northamptonshire, where since 2006 I have continuously worked as an Associate Dentist taking care of both NHS and private patients.
I am a dedicated GDP, and I make every effort to stay on top of current development in dentistry and have continued to expand my knowledge and interest in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. In 2009 I completed a post graduate degree in Restorative Dentistry at Eastman Dental Institute -UCL, and the SAAD National Course in Conscious Sedation in London, and I continue to participate in courses and seminars to stay up to date in the existing world of dentistry.
I am also passionate about Preventive and Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Providing continuous patient care in the same practice, I can justify how beneficial for the patient the concept of care is, based on all the factors that affect the onset and progression of disease, and not only the symptoms. Through the years of serving the NHS care I understand how important, beneficial, and what a treasure the NHS is.
I am proud to have become a member of the Northamptonshire LDC, where I have found invaluable, knowable, passionate and very hard-working colleagues doing their upmost to improve and sustain NHS dentistry. Their continuous commitment, allowing patients and Dentists to provide the best dental care, and I hope to share my many years knowledge and experiences.
